What's your problem??

You know what your problem is? You get attached, fast. And once you are attached to someone, you do everything you can to please them and make them happy. It’s never been about what you want, it’s always everyone’s needs before your own.

You give out too many chances to people, who quite frankly, do not deserve them. They take advantage of you,and you become a pushover. But you’re okay with that, because they’re in your life and that’s all you ever wanted. And even if they screw you over, you’ll still be therefor them. Because that’s you, that’s who you are. Once you get attached to someone, they capture your heart and they always have a place there. 

Admit it!

Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the ‘normal people’ as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like ‘Have a nice day’ and ‘Weather’s awful today, eh?’ you yearn inside to say forbidden things like ‘Tell me something that makes you cry’ or ‘What do you think deja vu is for?’ Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past yourcubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? 

Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everybody carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others.

Reacting and Responding

Reacting and Responding are two different things.It won't take much time to react on a situation but the outcome of such reaction will be probably negative. 

But it will take more time to respond on a situation.Here the outcome will positive because it takes time to respond. 

We have to think of the situation, analyse the situation and then proceed to the next step of giving our opinion.

Friendship Day?

And so it's a friendship day. Wait, a friendship day? Is there any quote on a friend?! Yeah, A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words - Unknown.

Not everyone who welcomes you with a smile is a friend. In many cases an enemy is better than a friend who counts mistakes always in you and thus provokes you to bounce back. And in my view the basic thing for a relationship so called friendship is a necessity which is also a base for any kind of relationship.

According to Stephen Covey there are three constants in life change, choice and principles. And hence for every person the other person is just a choice who can change for sure based on his principles. Probably those kinda people are treated as friends. #MyLifeWithExperience.

My take on the whole Modi issue

My take on the whole Modi issue:

Congress says that BJP is communal, specially Modi who is pro Hindutva and anti Muslim and that he will target minorities. So, they keep bringing up the Godhra issue again and again. Somehow their leaders suffer from short term memory loss when it comes to the 84 Sikh riots and the 93 Bombay riots where they were in power in Maharashtra. Also, they never talk about how BJP fielded Muslims in municipal and panchayat elections and won in Gujarat.

The Advani camp believes that Modi does not know anything outside Gujarat and that the Godhra riots were the main reason why BJP suffered in 2004 and then suffered even more in 2009 with their vote bank reducing to less than 20% at the national level. One thing that we feel went totally against the BJP in 2004 was that they didn't have a face of the party, Advani was not approved by the public as a Prime Ministerial candidate just like how the Advani camp and Congress feel about Modi, which might be true.

With Modi's portrayal as the PM candidate, the JD(U) split from NDA is almost obvious, Patnaik will follow as well. But the Bypoll elections also suggest Nitish Kumar's image going down, a Naxal attack today and he's busy discussing Federal front with Mamta instead of dealing with state security.

Now the federal / 3rd front is happening mainly because it's so uncertain who will get more votes among Congress / BJP, otherwise you would see strong UPA / NDA coalitions right from now. Mayawati, Lalu, Mulayam, Mamta - all these are power hungry politicians will prime ministerial dreams. They will sway where their chances are better. Arvind Kejriwal has added a brand new twist to this whole story and might be a defining force in the overall scope of things.

Modi might not be the answer for BJP, they might lose just like in 2004, I am sure they will better the 2009 numbers, but Advani as a PM candidate won't make it any better nor will someone like Chauhan, Swaraj, Rajnath Singh or Gadkari. In any case, Modi will be taken seriously, so I am hoping we would at least see some development in the Congress led states in the next 9 months which they will do to try and erase the memory of crapping on the nation's face for the last 9 years.

The fundamental difference between communal and secular parties is that communal parties might target minorities, but secular parties are no better. They let them do so, sit and watch the fun and then come on media to show their sympathies to the minorities. They are two sides of the same coin, just that minorities somehow believe the pseudo secular portrayal and vote for a bunch of goons who project fake development to increase their vote banks.

We are at a critical juncture right now. Rupee is falling, inflation and petrol prices are rising like rapes in the capital. We are a young nation and 5 years of good governance can really help in changing our fortunes. We need a system that discourages outsourcing and BPOs and encourages start ups and need to create better jobs, specially in the manufacturing sector. We need to be self sufficient.

We need to show the world that we can be a developed country.....

What is Secularism?

There is nothing wrong in being aHindu/Muslim/Christian/Sikh...
It's a matter of choice.

There is nothing wrong in being anationalist. That too is a matter of choice.
And there is nothing wrong at all in being a Hindu Nationalist/Muslim Nationalist/Christian Nationalist....

Secularism doesn't mean absence of religion (in this case one particular religion), it means the exact opposite : The freedom to choose and propagate ones' religion.

2. When they see us watching T20 cricket: Ye aajkal ke ye twenty forty non sense me kya mazaa hai? Hamare zamane me Kapil Dev ne jo 5 down hone ke baad Zimbabwe ke khilaaf 175 maarke India ko jitaya tha, tum logon ko kya pata? Us din BBC ke strike ke wajah se match nahin aaya tha, bas Radio pe sun rahe the, chauke pe chauka, chakke pe chakka, sochte the ki commentator same shot ke baare me replay bata raha hai aur score bolte waqt samajh me aata tha ki ek aur chakka maara hai. Aajkal ke cricket me wo baat kahan..

3. When we take a flight to reach Delhi and travel around: Udke to koi bhi jaata hai, travel karne ka mazaa to train me hi hai.. Aajkal to train me bhi 1 din me pahunch jaate hain, hamare zamane me South se Dilli jaane ke liye 3 din lagte the.. Wo raste me har jagah ki specialty khana, pede, shreekhand, chai.. tum logon ko kya pata hai? Bas plane me baithe aur 2 ghante me pahunch gaye..

4. When we go to KFC, McDonalds, Dominos: Ye bhi koi khana hai? Isse health bahut kharab hota hai, maine paper me padha hai ki roz pizza khane se 'some random statistic / gyaan'. Hamare zamane me hum log kitna healthy khate the, tabhi to aaj bhi dekho kitne tandurust hain, tumhare age me hum log 10 kilometre roz chalke jaate the office aur daudke wapas aate the, aajkal uthne baithne ke liye tum logon ko bike chahiye, chalna to tum logon ne seekha hi nahin..

5. When they come to know about our relationships: Aajkal ka pyaar bhi koi pyaar hai? Hamare zamane me char-paanch mahine ladki se nahin mil paate the, chitti likhni padti thi, paise nahin hote the use post karne ke liye, phir bhi humne pyaar kiya. Tum logon ke paas mobile hai, yaad aaya to SMS aur ye aajkal ka kya hai wo Wechat.. hamare paas kuch bhi nahin tha. Phir bhi humne pyaar kiya hai.. tum log kya jaano pyaar kya hota hai..
